Who are you? Our understanding of identity deeply impacts how we live and what we believe.
About the book
This book combines the wisdom of multiple Christian women as they explore what our identity is and expose the lies that steal from the freedom we have in Christ. Each chapter covers an aspect of our identity, unpacking what can steal from it and pointing us to transforming truth.
This theological book allows the reader to reclaim the truth of who they are in Christ by setting a strong biblical foundation and exposing lies that assail Christian women. The group discussion questions elevate the book, and allow the reader to not just passively learn from the chapters but actively study the bible as well.
I highly recommend reading this book with a friend and taking the time to go through all the discussion questions. There is much wisdom to be gained from this book especially for young women who are shaping their identity in Christ in the midst of a broken world.
A QUOTE AND A QUESTION
“This is the paradox of finding identity in Christ: In order to become our truest selves, in order to know ourselves, we must know him. In order to reflect his goodness and glory, we must be made like him, we must be “renewed in knowledge after the image of [our] creator” (Col. 3:10)…In God’s wisdom, our identity as image bearers simultaneously elevates and humbles us.” pg. 24-25
- How would you answer the question, “Who am I?”
